Client circumstances

Our client's registrars were unable to reconcile a substantial amount of share option movements across multiple share schemes following acquisition of a FTSE 250 household brand. The acquired group had failed to implement robust systems of control and as a consequence our client and its officers were immediately in default on acquisition.
